Yesterday we came back from a beautiful trip in Australia and Tasmania. We had wonderful weather and saw many special things and met friendly people. The complete organization regarding the campers we rent at KEA campers and Cruisin’ Tasmania were superb. The service of all parties concerned was excellent. The campers we rent were practically new. Our compliments!

Rob & Marie-Louise, 10 April 2003:

Leg 1 : Sydney - Adelaide
Travel dates : 21 December 2002 – 5 January 2003
Vehicle : Hertz Cruising Motorhome Group S

The camper was fine, we travelled about 3100 km from Sydney through the Blue Mountains, Cowra, Wagga Wagga, Beechworth, Phillip Island, Great Ocean Road, Grampians, Noracoorte, Kingston, Victor Harbour, Kangaroo Island to Adelaide. It was great. Fantastic camper fit for the job. The children also enjoyed themselves very much. Then we flew to Alice Springs, went to Ayers Rock by car and ended in Palm Cove (Cairns).

Family van M., 24 April 2003:

Leg 1 : Sydney - Brisbane
Travel dates : 13 February 2003 – 20 March 2003
Vehicle : Hertz HiTop Campervan Group N

We often think back on our holiday wistfully. We have enjoyed ourselves tremendously during our holiday. Everything went fine, and the children had the time of their lives. We skipped Melbourne, but followed your route description via Dubbo. It was a good advice otherwise we would not have had enough time to see everything.

John & Diedy, 11 April 2003:

Leg 1 : Melbourne - Melbourne
Travel dates : 6 February 2003 - 27 February 2003
Vehicle : Apollo HiTop Campervan 2/3 berth

Leg 2 : Melbourne - Melbourne
Travel dates : 27 February 2003 – 31 March 2003
Vehicle : Apollo Hyundai Excel

We have had a great holiday. We started off badly because our suitcases got lost in Paris. But later everything went well. The Apollo people were very friendly and our experiences with them, as well as with the campervan and the car were very good. It is a great country and if you travel by campervan you really experience the vastness of the country. We did not see any bush fires except in Wangaratta. You could smell that there had been one.

Tired, but satisfied after spending two weeks in Australia. What a magnificent country. Everything went well and we did not have any troubles with our car.

We both think it is a beautiful country, the people are very friendly and not so stressed. Yesterday we were at Glenwood National Park, beautiful. We fed the cockatoos, which sat on our arms and shoulders, such a great experience. There were 45 of them, and not to mention the kangaroos. We frequently used your route description and also your advice about camping options.

Erwin & Annelies, 16 January 2004:

Leg 1 : Sydney - Darwin
Travel dates : 6 December 2003 – 29 December 2003
Vehicle : Hertz Aussie Motorhome Group O

After our tour through Australia we sit at home and enjoy the memories of everything we have seen and experienced. First of all we want to thank you for the route suggestions, we have enjoyed every minute of it. The Hertz camper was perfect, compact but everything you need was there. Especially recommended for two people who want to go touring. The camper was very stable considering its height.

Our trip to Downunder went very well. We had a wonderful time in Sydney where we also enjoyed the fireworks on New Year’s Eve besides several trips we made to Darling Harbour and the Circular Quay. Our daughters watched breathlessly by the sight of the fireworks. The journey by camper brought us from Sydney to Foster Tuncurry, Arrawarra and Byron Bay. Then we explored the outback and we especially enjoyed spending the night at Washpool National Park. A must!
It had a beautiful natural campsite with some magnificent, well-indicated walks. Some of these walks you could also do with little children.

Charlotte, January 2004:

Ronald & Inge, 3 February 2004:

Leg 1 : Cairns - Adelaide
Travel dates : 19 December 2003 – 26 January 2004
Vehicle : Apollo HiTop "Cheapa Campa"

We found your travel suggestions very useful and also the National Park guide we received by post. We used it a lot! We only used the road map in the car for the detailed maps of the cities, the rest we did by your NP guide. The maps are very clear. We followed many suggestions. For example: early night, early rising. Went very well! The camping guides were very useful. We had a “Lonely Planet guide” and we always succeeded in finding a nice campsite.

Rigt & Henk, 18 January 2004:

Leg 1 : Auckland - Christchurch
Travel dates : 20 December 2003 – 10 January 2004
Vehicle : Apollo 2 berth ST

I want to let you know that we had a very nice holiday thanks to your efforts. We were very pleased with our Apollo camper. Nicely furnished, clean and very kind people with a customer-friendly attitude. We also found the service you gave us very nice and very personal. If we go to New Zealand in the future we will contact you again. Thank you for everything and we will highly recommend you to all our friends who want to see Australia or New Zealand.

Ria & Waldo, 22 January 2004:

Leg 1 : Broome - Perth
Travel dates : 20 December 2003 – 13 January 2004
Vehicle : Apollo 4WD Adventure Camper

After this trip we discovered that a hinge of the bonnet was broken, probably on a non-sealed road to Hamersly Gorge. We contacted Apollo about this. The car was still covered by the guarantee, so we tried to find a Toyota dealer. We could still drive the car. In the small places there was no Toyota dealer and we also did not have the time to change our schedule. Eventually, when we delivered the car at Apollo in Perth we explained everything. No problem at all!!

Jeroen & Monique, 10 January 2004:

Leg 1 : Perth - Perth
Travel dates: 23 December 2003 – 8 January 2004
Vehicle : South Perth 4WD Rentals Toyota Landcruiser with Roof Top Tent

Concerning the dealer: good company. We were picked up in time at our lodge. The car was ready, everything was included and they explained clearly how things worked. With a Toyota Landcruiser you can drive everywhere, so this was no problem.
About the gear: everything is rather basic. The longer you drive with such a vehicle the more it crosses your mind that if it would be mine, you’d organise it differently. But I experienced the same thing during my previous trip to Australia when I rent a campervan. The tent was a fine solution and could be set up very quickly.

Henk, 23 January 2004:

Leg 1 : Perth - Perth
Travel dates : 23 December 2003 – 26 December 2003

We came back safely after a magnificent holiday in West Australia. Due to your perfect service and preparation it was a great experience for us. The rented Apollo camper was perfectly OK.

Honorine, 20 January 2004:

Leg 1 : Sydney - Sydney
Travel dates : 24 December 2003 – 16 January 2004
Vehicle : AAM MH6

The camper was above expectation and we got great help from the people there. We had a little problem with the gear once, but fortunately we were near Brisbane where the camper could be fixed. We all agree that it is worth to go back again. We surely want to make use of your services again. Thanks a lot for all your efforts.
